A personal address supports direct relationships; a role address such as accounts@ clarifies a function. General addresses help with shared tasks, but assign responsibility for responses. A professional-looking address without an accountable recipient still loses enquiries.

An alias is not automatically a separate mailbox

Some services route several aliases into one mailbox. That differs from separate credentials, storage or collaboration. Verify the package’s capabilities before promising addresses. Forwarding an alias does not automatically permit sending as that address.
